Built a V2 of my chat assistant and honestly it’s starting to feel wrong.

It reads conversations, replies automatically, and adjusts tone so people don’t lose interest. Now it also:

• does web search mid-chat

• reads images people send

• transcribes + replies to voice notes

• sends context-based GIFs

• remembers things like birthdays and past chats

• sends follow-ups if you forget

• lets you steer conversations if they go off track

• summarizes every ~25 messages for context

~500k tokens used across ~500 messages so far.

At this point I’m not even sure if I’m texting people or just supervising a system that texts for me.

Is this useful… or just socially cursed?
