古来、人間は死を「避けられない運命」として受け入れ、その限られた時間の中でいかに生きるかという「死の受容（Acceptance of Mortality）」を中心に死生観を形成してきました。「死があるからこそ、生は美しく、一瞬の輝きを放つ」という考え方は、多くの宗教や哲学の根底にあります。

しかし、現代のテクノロジーや医学の進歩は、老化を「治療可能な病」と見なし、寿命を大幅に延ばす、あるいは精神をデジタル化して保存するという「死の克服（Transhumanism / Overcoming Death）」を現実的な目標として掲げ始めています。もし、私たちが永遠に近い命を手に入れ、死という「締め切り」が消失したならば、人間の情熱、倫理観、そして「幸福（Happiness）」の本質はどのように変化するでしょうか。

あなたは、死が人間から奪われる（あるいは克服される）ことは、人間性の進化であると考えますか。それとも、死という限界を失うことは、生の価値を空虚なものにすると考えますか。「有限な生」と「無限の生」のどちらが、人間にとってより真の豊かさをもたらすと考えるか、あなたの見解を論理的に述べなさい。

Fundamentally, however great the development of medical technologies or that of digital devices may become, we will not be absolutely able to overcome death per se. 

With the technological advancement of AI, we will be able to reproduce the ideas of the deceased. But they will be no more than the probable answers of the deceased, not the ones of theirs as they are. 

Transhumanism or the thought of overcoming Death is merely the figment of our imagination. By no means does this mean that the technological development is of no value or of no use. The digital or medical development, I suppose, will greatly contribute to reducing the agony or regret of the dying, but the death per se will not be able to be overcome. 

The intrinsic value of our happiness will never change, no matter what. I don't think the disappearance of the deadline of death will make us happy or unhappy and that we cannot get away from our finite lives.

Despite the rapid advancement of medical and digital technologies, I believe that we will never truly overcome death per se.

The dream of transhumanism—the idea that we can achieve immortality through technology—remains a figment of our imagination. While AI can now reproduce the ideas and speech patterns of the deceased, these are no more than probable answers generated by an algorithm; they are not the authentic expressions of a conscious being. A digital ghost lacks the soul and the lived experience that define human essence.

This is not to say that technological progress is without value. On the contrary, medical and digital developments should be highly valued for their ability to reduce the agony and regret of those facing the end of life. Technology serves us best when it functions as a tool for palliative care and dignity, rather than as a futile attempt to bypass the biological reality of our existence.

Furthermore, I argue that the intrinsic value of happiness remains unchanged by the length of our lives. The "deadline" of death is not a flaw to be fixed, but a boundary that defines our humanity. Even if we could theoretically extend our lives indefinitely, it would not necessarily make us happier; true fulfillment comes from how we inhabit our finite lives, not from the mere accumulation of time.

In conclusion, we cannot and should not attempt to escape our finitude. True societal and personal richness lies in accepting death as an absolute certainty, focusing our technological power on alleviating suffering in the present, and finding meaning within the limited time we are given.
