one hand Im here because I think the tech is amazing. on the other hand I cant shake the feeling that we are building something that makes us obsolete in our own spaces. we are already at a point where AI can write better comments than most humans. Not smarter maybe but more consistent, no ego, no bad moods, no typos. Just clean output.
so what happens in 2-3 years when its indistinguishable? When you literally cannot tell if the person you are arguing with or buying from or dating is a human or an agent?Does it even matter.some people say yes because human consciousness is special. Others say no because if the output is the same who cares whats generating it.
the thing that scares me isnt the AI itself. Its that we have no way to choose. Right now you cant opt into human-only spaces because nobody can verify whos human. We are all just mixed together and guessing.
reddit CEO talked about this recently. Said they want personhood verification without breaking pseudonymity.
What do you think? Does human-only interaction matter in a post-AGI world? Thanks
