Would you pay for an AI tool that writes cold emails tailored to each prospect? (not a pitch, genuinely asking)

Key Points

  • The post proposes building an AI tool that generates personalized cold emails from basic inputs like a prospect’s name, company, and offering details.
  • The envisioned workflow includes controlling tone, subject lines, and calls-to-action, plus batch generation via spreadsheet import.
  • A Chrome extension would optionally connect to the user’s email account to help send the generated emails.
  • The author is seeking demand validation by asking users about their current cold-email process and whether they would pay $10–15 per month for time savings of 30+ minutes per day.

Thinking of building a tool where you paste in a prospect’s name, company, and what you’re selling, and it generates a personalized cold email in seconds. Handles tone, subject line, CTA, the whole thing. It would also allow you to import spreadsheets and generate multiple cold emails at once and also connect to the users email to send these emails for them via a chrome extension

Before I go further with it, I want to know if there’s actually demand. A few questions:

• Do you send cold emails for sales, outreach, or freelance work? • What’s your current process — do you write from scratch, use templates, or already use some AI tool? • Would you pay $10–15 a month for something like this if it saved you 30+ min a day?

Not trying to sell anything here, just want honest answers before I invest more time. Drop your thoughts
