I’m in tech and from where I’m looking, AI is already reducing the number of junior software development jobs. This is not hype, it’s here.
I’m witnessing teams of talented developers now having AI generate all their code — good code; with the developers shifting their focus to managing requirements and verifying suitability of generated program products.
Seriously, in the software development space everyone is funneling towards having product owner roles with AI doing all the coding work.
Anybody else seeing this yet?
