I finally cracked the code on a headquarters-style app using Claude code in terminals for my companies. Unlimited agents all running through terminals on my Claude subscription without needing to use api calls. Should I make a waitlist for this? Thoughts from any real devs?

Key Points

  • The author built a “headquarters-style” interface that lets them run Claude Code workflows across many terminals at once, organized by projects and folders.
  • The central HQ node serves as a command center for multiple companies, with visual indicators showing which nodes have active terminals and how many are running.
  • Each folder node is linked to persistent memory and can be managed with quick renaming, adding/deleting/moving nodes, and easy file/folder access (including one-click “copy path”).
  • The UI consolidates agent/skill/MCP/plugin visibility alongside the terminal experience, and adds conveniences like context/usage bars and improved terminal rendering for text, tables, images, and videos.
  • The post asks whether others (and possibly a wider audience) would benefit enough to justify starting a waitlist, inviting feedback from real developers.

The Canvas of the HQ

Finally had enough and decided to make an interface that will let me use Claude code in as many terminals as I want. The canvas has a node for every project and folder you have, and the center "HQ Node" opens to my command center for all my companies. and each other node is just linked to a specific folder in my files, and stays with persistant memory. The node, folder, and active terminal tab names all changeable with one click. When a node has at least one terminal running, it will glow on the canvas, and display a number of how many terminals are running inside of it. You can add new nodes, delete nodes, move them around freely, etc. The open-node view has a side panel for all of my files, as well as a right side panel to list all of the agents, skills, MCPs, and plugins that are connected to each folder. Both side panels adjustable in size. All files and folders have a "copy path" button right on their placeholder for easy access to give Claude. Allows you to open pictures and videos in its own tabs, all while being able to easily see all the skills and agents you have access to in that moment, separated by global, project, and folder specific. This has been helping me organize the wake of md files, agents, and projects from the last few months. Terminal redesign to allow for regular text and tables, display context bar, usage bar (both 5 hr window and weekly limits usage bar). Pretty much combined all the best parts of the Claude desktop app, vs code, and the terminal all in one so I can work on all my businesses at once from one unified hub. I would assume others would benefit from this as well.
